What should I Declare to the customs on arrival?

1. The baggage with a total value over the amount of duty exemption of NTD20,000, or alcoholic beverages and cigarettes more than the quantities of duty exemption (200 cigarettes, or 25 cigars or 1 pound of tobacco, 1,000c.c. of alcoholic beverages, under the premise that the passenger is 20 or over in age).
2. New Taiwan Dollar more than NTD100,000..(amount exceeding NTD 100,000 shall be placed in bond for subsequent return abroad)

3. Foreign currencies (incl. HKD, MOP) more than USD10,000 or its equivalent.

 4. Chinese currency more than  CNY20,000.(amount exceeding CNY20,000 shall be placed in bond for subsequent return abroad)

5.Negotiable securities (incl. bearer traveler's checks, promissory notes, drafts, and securities) with face value totaling over USD10,000 or its equivalent.

6. Gold exceeding a total value of  USD20,000.

7. Diamonds, precious stones and/or platinum in an aggregate value exceeding NTD500,000 (or its equivalent) and not intended for personal use.

8. Any aquatic products or animal, plant or any endangered species of wildlife or products thereof.

9. Unaccompanied baggage delivered at a later time.

10.Other dutiable goods or things to be declared. 

In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version, the latter shall prevail.
